Properly loading a container will help protect your goods from damage during transit and so that the operation takes place in maximum security.<\/p>\n<p>Improper\u00a0or careless packing of cargoes into\/onto such units, or\u00a0lack\u00a0of proper blocking, bracing and\u00a0lashing, may be the\u00a0cause\u00a0of personnel\u00a0injury\u00a0when they are\u00a0handled or transported. In addition, serious and costly\u00a0damage\u00a0may occur to the cargo or to the\u00a0equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some rules to follow about how to load a shipping container in the proper way:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"style--03\">\n<li>Before starting to load, examine carefully to see if there are any holes or fractured welds\u00a0inside and outside the container, as well as the integrity of the box itself<\/li>\n<li>Distribute the weight of your cargo, furniture, and other boxes proportionately throughout the shipping container.\u00a0Continue loading heavier items on the floor and towards the front of the container, placing lighter items on top<\/li>\n<li>It is recommended to take pictures of the container externally and above all internally before, during and after loading (the client often requires this procedure)<\/li>\n<li>Use blankets, bubble wrap and cardboard to protect items from rubbing against each other. Blankets, bubble wrap and cardboard can also be used to fill in any empty spaces.
