It is the unloading of goods from a container.<\/p>\n<p>During container stuffing operations it is essential to prevent any damage during handling and transit and paying maximum attention.<\/p>\n<p>Improperly loading operations and unsecured cargo may endanger persons during handling and transport operations and cause damage to goods itself and equipment as well.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s take for example our last consolidated sea shipment to Panama (see also previous case history furniture logistics services in Venice #consolPanama). In addition to the various furnishing accessories, such as ovens, armchairs, etc., we have loaded also marble slabs.<\/p>\n<p>When planning the stuffing operations, we had to consider both the heaviness of the goods, by studying a balanced distribution inside the container, and the fragility of the slabs, providing for a suitable fixing.<\/p>\n<p>We secured them with ropes tied to the &#8220;lugs&#8221; inside the container. To ensure greater stability, air bags have also been placed as shown in the images below.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-38491\" title=\"CONSOL PANAMA, CONTAINER CONSOLIDATO \" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianlogistics.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/1625837714795830.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"830\" height=\"483\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Container loading guidelines<\/h4>\n<p>Here are some rules to follow about how to load a shipping container in the proper way:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"style--03\">\n<li>Before starting to load, examine carefully to see if there are any holes or fractured welds\u00a0inside and outside the container, as well as the integrity of the box itself<\/li>\n<li>Distribute the weight of your cargo, furniture, and other boxes proportionately throughout the shipping container.\u00a0Continue loading heavier items on the floor and towards the front of the container, placing lighter items on top<\/li>\n<li>It is recommended to take pictures of the container externally and above all internally before, during and after loading (the client often requires this procedure)<\/li>\n<li>Use blankets, bubble wrap and cardboard to protect items from rubbing against each other. Blankets, bubble wrap and cardboard can also be used to fill in any empty spaces. It is important that everything fits in snug and tight so that nothing shifts during the several phases of the transport (road freight, ocean transit etc..).<\/li>\n<li>Check the maximum permitted loading weight (indicated on the external door of the container itself; in some cases it may be subject to more restrictive rules in the importing country)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Are you looking for a trustable freight forwarder in Italy?
