Baby 3.0, a sculpture by Lorenzo Quinn 7 meters high and almost 9 wide, definitively says goodbye to Venice after being hosted for a few months in the garden of Palazzo Corner della Ca’ Granda in San Marco.<\/p>\n
Our first experience with the Baby 3.0 was related to its arrival in the month of July<\/a>, when we took care of the containers delivery and customs clearance operations.<\/p>\n At the end of the exhibition, ended on October 31st, we arranged the transfer of the artwork to the headquarter in Spain, for the maintenance and restoration.<\/p>\n The work was transported, with the help of pontoons, to the Marghera Intermodal terminal, where it was dismantled into various parts in order to allow the road transportation.<\/p>\n Let’s remember that the structure was\u00a0made up of two parts, coming from different countries:<\/p>\n Part A was originally cleared under Temporary Admission<\/a>.<\/p>\n For the transfer to Spain, and therefore to another European country, we closed the temporary importation into Italy and issued the T1 document<\/a> (in addition to the cultural goods export certificate).<\/p>\n Once reached the final destination, the Spanish customs has closed the T1 document and carried out the importation.<\/p>\n From a customs point of view, Part A was originally cleared under Temporary Admission.<\/p>\n For the transfer to Spain, and therefore to another European country, we closed the temporary importation into Italy and proceeded to issue the T1 document (in addition to the cultural goods export certificate).<\/p>\n Once reached the final destination, the Spanish customs has closed the T1 document and carried out the importation.<\/p>\n As regards part B, the goods are of European origin, no customs operation was required.<\/p>\n\n
