{"id":52973,"date":"2023-01-09T15:47:18","date_gmt":"2023-01-09T14:47:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.caribe.me\/ala\/finearttransporationvenice\/"},"modified":"2025-09-08T15:03:08","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T13:03:08","slug":"finearttransporationvenice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asianlogistics.net\/en\/finearttransporationvenice\/","title":{"rendered":"Fine art transport for Biennale di Venezia .. round trip by Asian Logistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The Chinese Pavilion: the show is over, the artworks are sailing back home<\/h3>\n<p>The 59th International Art Exhibition ran from 23 April to 27 November 2022.<\/p>\n<p>As being the nominated the freight forwarder in charge for the logistics of the artworks destined to the Chinese Pavilion, we coordinated the local operations, from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asianlogistics.net\/en\/asian-logistics-agencies-sailing-towards-the-venice-biennale-chinese-pavillion\/\">containers arrival in Italy to the artworks delivery at the Chinese Pavilion in Venic<\/a>e.<\/p>\n<p>In December, at the end of the pavilion dismantling operations, we carried out the repatriation of the artworks back to China.<\/p>\n<p>The several sculptures and paintings have been suitably fixed and packed inside sturdy wooden crates, to allow a safe transportation.<\/p>\n<p>The crates were transferred using the pontoons from the Arsenale quay, just outside the Chinese Pavilion, to the Tronchetto quay in Venice.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-43282\" title=\"FINE ART TRANSPORT, OPEN TOP CONTAINER OUT OF GAUGE\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianlogistics.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/1673605825558640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The packages were unloaded at Tronchetto quay and then brought by truck to our logistic warehouse in Marghera.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-43284\" title=\"FINE ART TRANSPORT, OPEN TOP CONTAINER OUT OF GAUGE\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianlogistics.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/1673624937287526.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Close to the ship&#8217;s departure, we arranged the containers stuffing, including one open top container out of gauge.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-43289\" title=\"FINE ART TRANSPORT, OPEN TOP CONTAINER OUT OF GAUGE\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianlogistics.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/1673945069322894.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Customs clearance<\/h4>\n<p>When the containers arrived in Italy from China, the customs clearance of the artworks took place under the temporary admission regime, with customs duties deposited (VAT is 10% for works of art).<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The temporary admission system permits the temporary importation of non-EU goods, for various uses, with total or partial exemption from customs duties (duty and VAT) and without the application of commercial policy measures. Goods under temporary admission must be re-exported without having undergone any changes apart from the normal depreciation due to use.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Upon temporary admission, a guarantee must be provided for customs duties relating to the temporary imported goods.<\/em>\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.adm.gov.it\/portale\/dogane\/operatore\/regimi-e-istituti-doganali\/i-regimi-doganali\/ammissione-temporanea-1\">adm.gov.it<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Once received the loading confirmation from the carrier, the temporary admission regime was closed and the customs duties deposited were released (refundment of the customs duties deposit).<\/p>\n<p>Contact us for your international shipments and fine art transport!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Chinese Pavilion: the show is over, the artworks are sailing back home The 59th International Art Exhibition ran from 23 April to 27 November 2022.
