years for sensitive sectors.<\/p><h5 data-section-id=\"zx6j53\" data-start=\"656\" data-end=\"697\">Impact on EU\u2013South America Trade Flows<\/h5><p data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"871\">For European companies, the agreement opens access to a market of over 260 million consumers in Mercosur and could generate <strong data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"870\">tariff savings of up to \u20ac4 billion per year<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"916\">Key EU sectors expected to benefit include:<\/p><ul data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"1023\"><li data-section-id=\"qn5yln\" data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"932\">automotive<\/li><li data-section-id=\"gsak81\" data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"957\">industrial machinery<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1tnklls\" data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"991\">chemicals and pharmaceuticals<\/li><li data-section-id=\"7kf0kj\" data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"1023\">textiles and consumer goods<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1025\" data-end=\"1166\">Currently subject to high duties (up to 35% in the automotive sector), these industries will benefit from a <strong data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1165\">gradual reduction of
