Export customs procedures
We offer a comprehensive and professional service for managing customs procedures for export, designed to simplify every step of the export process and ensure your goods reach their final destination smoothly. We handle:
Permanent exports
What does it mean: Definitive export allows goods from the European Union to permanently leave the customs territory in order to be shipped to non-EU countries.
Our role: We handle all the necessary procedures, ensuring that every document is in order and that the process complies with current regulations. This allows you to focus on your business while we take care of the paperwork.
Temporary exports under the Outward Processing Relief (OPR) regime
What it means: Temporary export is a customs regime that allows goods to leave the territory of the European Union for a limited period, for the purpose of processing.
Outward processing (perfezionamento passivo) allows temporarily exporting EU goods outside the customs territory for transformation, and then reimporting the processed products with full or partial exemption from import duties.
Temporary export mainly concerns goods intended for specific processes abroad, including:
a) transformation into products with chemical, physical, or organoleptic characteristics different from those of the temporarily exported goods;
b) various types of processing, including assembly, fitting, and adaptation of other goods;
c) repair, including refurbishment and fine-tuning.
Our role: We provide consultancy and support in managing the temporary export procedure, ensuring that all operations are compliant.
Triangulation exports
What it means: Triangular exports involve three parties and two sales, but the goods travel directly from the original supplier to the final customer. This simplifies VAT and customs management, provided that the export is genuine and well documented.
Our role: We take care of all the necessary customs procedures, ensuring that operations run smoothly and comply with regulations, thus facilitating international transactions.
Exports related to Community Transit
What it means: Exports related to Community transits refer to situations where goods destined for export outside the European Union (EU) pass through one or more EU countries or the common transit area (which includes the EU, EFTA countries — Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein — and other countries that have joined the Common Transit Convention) under customs transit procedures.
Community/Union transit is a suspensive customs regime that allows the movement of goods, under customs control, between two points within the customs territory of the European Union or between the EU and countries adhering to the Common Transit Convention, without the goods being immediately subject to import duties or other national taxes. It functions like a controlled “passage” for the goods.
Our role: We handle customs procedures for Community transit, ensuring efficient and professional management.
Procedures for city re-entry of containers already admitted into the port customs area
What it means: The “procedures for city re-entry of containers already admitted into the port customs area” describe the bureaucratic and logistical process for a container that, after being admitted to the port, must temporarily leave the customs perimeter and then re-enter it to complete its journey or formalities.
Our role: We coordinate and manage all container movements and returns, calculating additional costs for stops and ensuring that all operations comply with customs and logistical regulations.
