Case history: from the heart of Bavaria to Misurata Chamber of Commerce, through Porto Marghera – Venice – to make the container stuffing stop
The ports of Northern Italy represent strategic logistic hubs not only for the national goods but also for those coming from areas without direct access to the sea (e.g. Southern Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary…).
As Italian freight forwarders located in Venice, we take care of connecting every small link in the transport chain, offering the complete service from goods pick up in the warehouse to the last mile delivery.
We recently shipped some lots of elevators destined for the Misurata Chamber of Commerce.
After picking up goods in Germany using the truck transport solution, we moved all the packages to our bonded warehouse located next to Asian Logistics Agencies’ offices in Porto Marghera, Venice.
Goods was traveling accompanied by export customs bill issued at the customs point in Germany.
Once all packages had been grouped together in our bonded warehouse in Porto Marghera, we could go ahead with containers stuffing operations.
The EXAs were submitted electronically to the customs office of exit in the port of loading Genoa.
Containers regularly departed with final destination Port of Misurata.
