New Shipping Regulations for Guinea: Mandatory Insurance and BESC Certificate
Starting from March 1, 2025, importers of goods destined for Guinea will be required to obtain an insurance policy from a company established in Guinea. The insurance certificate must be uploaded during the creation of the Virtual Transaction File (DVT) on the Guinea Single Window for Trade (GUCEG) portal.
This regulatory change is crucial for all industry operators as it not only alters the import process but also ensures greater security during the transportation of goods.
